Athalia is an Indonesian American immigrant from the Rocky Mountains. With her legal background, having served as the Chief Legal Officer of the Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC), combined with her experiences growing up in rural, Northeastern Utah, Athalia aligns with FGE’s innovative mission to push for systematic, sustainable change for first generation students. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 2022 with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, and has taught a class on Indonesian Political Economy at the Travers Department of Political Science. In her free time, she enjoys making lattes at home and going on runs with her dog “Lexi”.
